PAST WORK
CAVE GIRL THE MUSICAL

My solo musical follows Gloria, a woman who is lost in a cave of her own design—a literal cave in the middle of the forest where she has sequestered herself to drink herself to death. Her loneliness prompts her to write a musical, through which she finds her way out of the woods.

GORGEOUS LADIES OF COMEDY
In New York, where I lived for 15 years, I noticed a disparity between opportunities for women and men in comedy, and a general lack of support. I created Gorgeous Ladies of Comedy, which became TheGLOC.net (now defunct), and I was featured in the Spotlight section of the NY Times. Here are a few of the comedy events and opportunities GLOC contributed to.

DANCE DANCE PARTY PARTY
My bestie and I were tired of being harassed by men in bars so we created a safe space for women (and now with the more inclusive language of "all marginalized genders") to dance. Soon, we had chapters popping up all over the world, as far away as New Zealand! We were featured in the NY Times, Time Out NY, The Village Voice, SHAPE Germany, and many more. This welcoming dance party for marginalized genders still welcomes dancers around the world. Google your city and see if there's one nearby!
